Meet Your CE Instructor

Jacquelyn MacDonald, PhD, BCBA-D, LABA is an associate professor at Regis College, where she serves as Program Director of the Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis and co-director of the Regis Autism Center. She also serves as the Assistant Dean for Behavior and Brain Sciences. Her favorite courses are in ethics, supervision, and concepts and principles. She has been practicing behavior analysis for over 20 years across a variety of settings, including grade schools, preschools, in-home programs, after-school programs, residential homes, and day programs for individuals with disabilities. Before joining Regis in 2014, Jacquelyn spent 11 years at The New England Center for Children (NECC), serving as a specialist in professional, program, and curriculum development. In 2018, she was named Educator of the Year by NECC, with the organization's president and CEO praising her as an accomplished educator who has transformed the lives of children with autism and spread the benefits of applied behavior analysis nationally through her work training other teachers. Prior to Regis, she was also an adjunct faculty member at Simmons College and UMass Boston. Her research interests include teaching observational learning to children with disabilities across play, academic, and vocational activities, staff training, medical and dental toleration, and teaching culturally responsive skills. She has published in the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis, Behavior Analysis in Practice and Behavioral Interventions, served as a guest reviewer for several academic journals, and sits on the editorial board of Behavioral Interventions. She also serves as Director of Business Partnerships for the Berkshire Association for Behavior Analysis and Therapy. Jackie is a co-host of the podcast "ABA Inside Track. Jacquelyn teaches supervision courses in the MS in ABA program at Regis College.
